Drawing Cute People [1]

I'm trying to draw more to develop my own style more so I asked my facebook friends for pictures of them to draw from. The response was very positive and everyone was really exited. Though since I want to do more polished pictures each one takes several hours, so just be patient there will be more!

I started out with drawing Robyn Young here because I though it was a fairly simple outfit to start with, I'm pretty happy with the result even though its not quite where I want it to be. But I'm trying new styles and I want to go for a big head and big eyes type style with a bit of a more childlike bodytype. I'm really inspired by illustrators like Phooey and Shiroi room.

Print Making

Working on some ideas for prints and made this, pretty happy with the general look of it. Its supposed to be twiggy, I think I will add some kind of text to it also!

Spent some hours editing this picture in photoshop, Im happy with the result, I've had the idea for a while and finally had a good quality photo to work with after the photoshoot with my band Constellations. *using band photos for my own personal use*. Im the person in the original photo that I used. I hope you like it!

Art and Orders

Today in school I made a pattern for a skirt that I will produce in a low quantity and then sell here on my blog, it will be medium length and in fairy kei style. ^__^ When I got home from school I sent an order to the shopping service japonica market, I'm buying some Angelic Pretty stuff from Mbok, I hope I win all four auctions, and of course you will be photos later when it arrives :3.

Pleased with my order I spent the last hours getting some creative work done. Witch resulted in this picture, hope you like it!
