Trying to get anything done

Living with chronic depression this is what my life is like every day. I keep trying to do all the things I want to do but there is just no energy. I get so frustrated over all the things I want to do but never finish. I push myself as hard as I can but I still can't seem to do it. I want to finish my videos, post more on my blog, draw more and take more photos.

I'm still going to keep trying, that's really all I can do. Hope you like my drawing!

I'm really happy with how this one turned out, Its just super pastel. I changed some things to have less details and more color. I wanted the background to have a pastel 80's feel, its okay but I think I can do better next time! I draw with a wacom bamboo fun tablet in photoshop. I love drawing people in alternative styles.

Drawing Cute People [1]

I'm trying to draw more to develop my own style more so I asked my facebook friends for pictures of them to draw from. The response was very positive and everyone was really exited. Though since I want to do more polished pictures each one takes several hours, so just be patient there will be more!

I started out with drawing Robyn Young here because I though it was a fairly simple outfit to start with, I'm pretty happy with the result even though its not quite where I want it to be. But I'm trying new styles and I want to go for a big head and big eyes type style with a bit of a more childlike bodytype. I'm really inspired by illustrators like Phooey and Shiroi room.
