Royal Princess Alice: Rapunzel Dresses

Lolita brand Royal Princess Alice med two different prints in collaboration with watercolor painter Tama. I think the idea of making two different prints with the same theme is pretty cool actually.

This one is called Thorns of Prince and Rapunzel, this one is my favorite of the two. The lanterns look amazing and so does the flowers. I love the tiny stars on the tower with the braid of hair around it. You can see the Rapunzel theme but its still not too much. Sadly the cut of the dress makes no justice to the wonderful painting that Tama made. The detailing on the bodice looks so cheap, the light color looks horrible. the big sheer bow on the OP looks so out of place, its not even the same color as the other detailing. The bottom lace would look so much better if it was lavender instead.

This one is called Shining moon of Rapunzel, the print is different and has a lavender and mint braid all over it. The castle still looks cute and the lanterns here are nice too even though they are not as pretty as one the other print. And the cut is the same so I don't have much more to say about it.

I recommend you check out the artist Tama, her illustrations are really amazing. The picture above is one of hers, she deserves some love.

Stockholm: International Lolita Day Picnic

Here's some pictures from the international lolita day picnic in stockholm! It was lots of fun and everyone looked so nice! It was fun to take a new group photo since its been a while sine we got one with so many of us. The park we were in is really beautiful.

On the left is my outfit, I was wearing Sweet Ribbon Strawberry. It felt like it was a perfect dress for going to a picnic! Since both me and Nikolai both were rocking the rectangle headdresses and looking pretty old school I had to have a picture together.

Fashion Valentine: Marie Tuonetar

This week my fashion valentine is the lovely and elegant Marie Tuonetar. I love the overall aesthetic of her outfits and her photos look amazing. She styles her long hair so perfectly with all her outfits. I admire people that seem to have figured out what their aesthetic is and manage to keep to it, I try to do this too but my style is all over the place. Be sure to go check out her blog and tumblr!

I love that she does black and white lolita coords. I feel like this style of black and white lolita really brings the oldschool color scheme to the modern lolita style. It looks fancy and the white stockings with black shoes combo makes it perfectly balanced. 

Marie wears a lot of black but is really good at keeping it interesting with matching different fabrics and textures. I love the collar and gloves on the left outfit, it gives it the perfect extra touch. And on the right one the pattern in the fabric looks stunning and the long veil looks really nice over her long hair.

I love this style of outfits where she looks like a fancy lady from the early 1900s, It looks so perfectly put together and I love that she does full shiro and kuro lolita. The hats look fantastic also.

Marie also does outfits that are more on the sweet style but I think she still keeps to the same type of aesthetic in these outfits! I't has a lovely type of retro feel to it. Also it looks super cute! I find your outfits really inspiring and hope to keep seeing more new ones!

Brand Feature: Automatic Honey

Automatic Honey is a brand that makes super cute accessories! They both do type of cute that would go perfectly with Angelic Pretty clothes and more creepy cute style. They have been making cute stuff for quite a while and keep delivering high quality cute products. They are a bit on the expensive side but I think the quality you get is worth it! Every item is carefully handmade by the two designers so I think that's something good to support!

  

Above you can see their current collection, it has a really sweet marine theme that feels super right for the summer season. Be sure to go and grab one while you can! The shell necklaces look like they would be perfect with Angelic Pretty's Dream Marine or Marine Kingdom.

They have made so many amazing pieces in the past and I look forward to seeing what more they will design in the future! They have made collections with many different themes and styles. Definitely a brand to keep you eyes on.

Video: Im back! Kinda... Sorta... [vlog 10]

Finally made a new vlog for my vlog channel, its been a while. I was feeling kawaii today! Got all dressed up but with nowhere to go or anyone to meet so thought I would say hi to you guys.

Angelic Pretty: Gingham Dress

Angelic Pretty just released this adorable gingham dress! It comes as a JSK or OP in four different colorways. I think the design is really cute, perfect dress for a summer picnic. The oldschool lace looks really cute, love the flower lace detail on the bodice.

Angelic Pretty x Disney: Crystal Dream Mermaid

Yet another Angelic Pretty x Disney collaboration! This time with the little mermaid and it is so lovely. I didn't like the Marie dress but this one is really pretty. The sheer fabric goes perfectly with the marine theme. The style of illustration on the print look super cute and mixes well with the Angelic Pretty style cut. There are lots of fun items in this collection so be sure to check it out!

Angelic Pretty: Aquarium Carnival

This upcoming weekend Angelic Pretty will finally be releasing 'Aquarium Carnival', one of their very anticipated releases this year! This print is so adorable, why are there not more prints with dolphins? Adding to the cuteness the dolphins have little crowns and ribbons on them. With the marine theme still being really popular this is probably going to be gone in seconds. The cuts for it are pretty standard, nothing super interesting, but I think the print is lovely enough to hold it up. I like the blue colorway the most because it just feels most fitting to the theme. The sheer overlay on one of the jsk's looks a bit off but its usually removable. This is just super cute, can't wait to see amazing coords for it!

Angelic Pretty: Melty Sky

Recently Angelic Pretty released Melty Sky and even though they have released several sky prints in the last years I think this one really has its own look. I feel like this print could look either casual or really ott depending on how you coord it! I think my favorite colorway is the pink one because I love the contrast between the pink and the lavender in it. They could of just made it like the light blue one and have it pink and white but instead they went with something more interesting. 

My favorite thing with this release though is the design details of the OP. There is so much, like the star lace and star buttons. The collar is made to look like its melting down. But my favorite is the sleeves, I always like scallop designs and mixed with the sheer candy striped fabric it looks just amazing.
