Fashion Valentine: Emilia

This week my fashion valentine is my dear friend Emilia, also known as Pastelbat! She has an amazing fashion sense and can make any style look amazing. She has always been a trendsetter and is really creative. She also makes accessories that she sells online and at events. Be sure to go follow her on tumblr and instagram for more outfits!

I really love the retro type style that Emilia has been dressing in lately. She looks absolutely stunning in all her outfits. On the left I love the black gingham with pastel pink, it just looks classy and expensive. The look to the right is simple but still looks super fashionable somehow!

Emilia also does very cute more pop style outfits too. Both these look so comfortable and super adorable. The overalls with all the pink on is really cute. 

Emilia used to dress more in lolita before but still had some lolita pieces that she uses now and then. I think that she really brings style elements from the other styles she dress in into lolita which results in some really creative outfits! 

Emilia keeps surprising me with new creative outfits and I just cant wait to see what she comes up with next! These two outfits look really fancy and doll like, love it! She is also a really good friend, I have known her for over five years and she has always been a very kind person.

Fashion Valentine: Melva

This week my fashion valentine is my dear friend Melva, she is from China but I met her while she was living in Sweden. She dresses in Lolita almost every day so there are so many outfit pictures it was hard to just pick a few. It really suits her perfectly and her outfits are really balanced. She is also super nice and wants to befriend all the Lolitas she meets. To see more of her outfits go follow her on instagram, tumblr and lookbook!

I love her really sweet outfits like the ones here. I love both Melody Toys and Wrapping Heart, I think her coords with them are just perfect. Her Dream Holic wigs really compliments her outfits too. The small details like the plush on her bad and little hair clips just completes the outfit.

She also looks amazing in any type of colors, these two are both so pretty! The small black details on the left outfit are perfectly balanced to the amount of black on the dress. Also on the right side outfit her boots fit perfectly with the gold detailing on the dress.

Here are two of Melva's coords with melty chocolate in different colorways, both are so sweet. She is really good at sticking to a theme as you can see on all her outfits. I'm so jealous of the chocolate box hat!! I want it in the pinkxpink colorway so badly. She has a really impressive wardrobe and sometimes when I don't know how to coord a dress I check out how she has coorded it or similar dresses.

I take so much inspiration from Melva. I'm glad that I have got to hang out with her, she inspired me to start wearing lolita whenever. After all what good are the lolita clothes if you are not going to wear them? I really miss her and I hope she comes back to sweden soon!

Fashion Valentine: Katarina

This week my fashion valentine is Katarina, yet another sweet lolita from Finland that is just amazing. Her style is always sugary sweet and really inspiring to me since I like to dress in that type of colors too. I love that she styles her own hair instead of wearing wigs. I think some people have gotten stuck to that wigs are a must but I think natural hair looks really nice too. Go follow her instagram to see more of her cute outfits.~

Both these outfits are so super sugary, she looks like a candy princess. It looks really dressed up but super comfy at the same time. I think the dark hair really nicely contrasts her pastel outfits. I love her taste in lolita dresses too, I want wrapping heart so bad!!

Kata balances colors really well too. On the right is her hellocon outfit where the shoes are the same shade as the darker pink in the print and the bad and hat are the same as the lighter pink in the dress. I love the summery blouse that she is wearing with it too.

On top of being absolutely adorable Katarina is also a really nice person. An absolute delight to hang out with! On the right is the first time I met her, she also modeled for Angelic Pretty in Stockholm a year ago. We had pretty simple outfits because we had to change for the fashion show, though I love this picture! I hope to meet Kata again soon, keep sharing your sugary sweet outfits. <3

Angelic Pretty: Eternal Carnival

One of Angelic Pretty's upcoming prints is Eternal Carnival! It looks really dreamy, I think carosels are such a lovely theme because the bring memories of going on beautiful merry go rounds as a child. I'm also exited to see what other colorways and cute it will come in. Carousels is Maki's (one of the AP designers) favorite motif so they always come with new carnival prints every year. This one looks really cute, I hope its not as pale as these pictures make it look. Also yes give me more pony bags!!

Fashion Valentine: Laura

This weeks fashion valentine is Laura Lehtonen, a really sweet girl from Finland. She mostly dresses in sweet Angelic Pretty outfits. Her outfits always look like every details has been carefully planed. She even makes props to match her outfits for teaparties and other events. I first met Laura when we both were modeling for Angelic Pretty in Stockholm, it was a super fun weekend! To the left is the outfit that she wore for the chocolate themed teaparty! She hand painted the flag thats on the trumpet to match with her dress. Everything is just perfectly matched. She is really good at balancing colors in every outfit. 

Any outfit I see her in looks so effortlessly perfect, everything just goes with the outfit. I really like how she matched pink on the right side outfit, there is nothing pink in the print but she makes it look like its the matching set.

Every time I see Laura at events she has gone the extra mile. The props really makes it that extra bit special. These pictures are from HelloCon, a lolita convention in Finland that I attended last year. Both these outfits were just gorgeous.

Fashion Valentine: Caspian

This weeks fashion valentine is Caspian, the Prince of pastels. He dresses in adorable pastel fairy kei outfits that I simply love! The mix of cool piercings and soft colors makes a really interesting look. Caspian also does really nice youtube videos, be sure to go follow his channel! He also posts outfits on his instagram.

Everything on the outfit is in pastels. The cut of the jacket is more in a tough style but when its in pastels with cute motifs on the back its just super cute. I think more people should wear pants with this kind of style, I wish more boys dared wear pastel colors. And the #boy sweater is awesome! I really like his new shorter hair, it suits him so well.

 

 With sticking to the same pallet he really has his own style of fairy kei and looks super cool in it. The pastel colored hair really adds to the outfit.

 I love seeing his outfits and he is also super friendly, I hope to meet him someday. I hope he keeps posting his amazing pastel outfits, it inspires me to do more boystyle in pastel colors.
