Outfit: Sugary Spring Happy Garden

I wanted to do a really sweet outfit and thought I hadn't worn this dress in a while! I really love Happy Garden, its such a super cute print. I know a lot of people don't like the highwaisted cuts but I think they suit me.

Outfit rundown:

Wig: Dream Holic

I ended up changing out the necklaces to an other one I made in paler colors. I also changed the shoes since my Angelic Pretty ones need to be fixed! (The bottom of them is coming off) I also added some pink bows to the front of the dress which I really think pulls the look together. Even though this is an easter themed print I don't want to limit myself to just wearing it for easter. Its a cute dress with cute bun buns for any time of the year!

I did really cute and sweet makeup, its been a long time since I wore both circle lenses and a wig! I love this wig, the colors are so cute. I've been making these star clips that I really like, I want to make more of them, maybe some to sell?

Avenue Denfer: Whale & Corsair

Taobao brand Avenue Denfer released this new print Whale & Corsair. I made the collage above to show off this cute dress. I actually really like this print! The marine theme has been really popular this still feels original. The print is detailed without being messy, the whales are so adorable. 

The jsk has a nice cut, its a simple and basic cut for a sweet lolita dress but its really well made one. The quality looks nice and it seems to have good lace also. I'm not a huge fan of lolita skirts, this one has a good shape but nothing interesting. There is nothing really wrong with the salopette, its the same kind Angelic Pretty has been making lately. Its just that it is too long for a short skirt and just comes out as a regular lolita skirt that is too short.

All in all I really like this dress and I would love to have the jsk in the light blue color! I also love the illustrations of girls wearing the dresses, I always find those very inspiring!

Angelic Pretty: Astro Regimen

Angelic Pretty is now releasing Astro Regimen, a mix between space and military themes and it is actually really working. Aside from the quite bad red colorway I actually really like this! I think what makes it is the interesting cuts and how they chose to use the print fabric. They have done many OP's in this style and I think it works nicely with this print. The jsk on the left looks basic at first but still has some interesting details. Like the pentagram straps on the back, its an interesting idea and I wonder how people will work it into coords. The jacket and skirt set is pretty cool, haven't seen them do this with print fabric any time recently.

But by far my favorite is the jsk on the right. The bodice is as simple as it needs to be to not take over from the fabulousness of the rest of the dress. It looks amazing how the printed fabric folds to the side to reveal the tierd skirt under it with fantastic color combo on the fabric and lace. I love that the didn't just let the fabric hang, its folded and sown into place. They made such great choices with how to line the print with the cut of the dress. Its just a really fabulous design and more of this please.

Angelic Pretty: Princess Cat

Who run the world? CATS! Angelic Pretty is now releasing their new print Princess Cat! As I said in my initial reaction this is a print with cats in tophats, this is great. These cats be stylin'. I love the whimsy of this print, its quite refreshing. The dark turquoise color might be hard to coord if you have a sweet pastel wardrobe, but really at least its easier to coord than the "mint" Diner Doll (omg is it blue or is it mint? cause it matches with neither of those colors).  With the general aesthetics and colorways of the pink and lavender it reminds me of a crossover between dolly cat and cinema doll. The OP looks really classy and I like the design of the back a lot! I still don't get the sheer overlay, but its looks highly optional so I guess it's fine. The tiered jsk is the standout for me, I actually really like the design, the tiers make since for this print and actually accentuates it (unlike the tiers on Romantic Little Garden). I love the double layered trim in the bottom, the black layer really balances out the black ribbons on the bodice. I like all the colorways accept for the red one, I would love the jsk in any of the other three colors!

Angelic Pretty: Dolly Dot

Cute and simple new print from Angelic Pretty called Dolly Dot. A more simple print like this is a nice change up but the execution could of been better. The OP is really cute but I know a lot of people wont fit into that type of cut. I wish the jsk had the same lace as the OP. The thin black tule looks kinda cheap. Kinda iffy about the pockets, I feel like they should of been accented more, like some more kind of trimming or ribbon. The skirt is pretty basic but looks like it would be nice for more casual looks. My favorite colorway for this is the lavender.

Angelic Pretty: Romantic Little Garden

Angelic Pretty released Romantic Little Garden a few weeks ago. To be honest I think its a bit bland, the colors are pretty pale and its just not very interesting. The crosses feel kinda out of place in the theme of the dress. 

I don't understand the choice to have a tier there it just looks.. off. But other than that a cute dress I guess. Can't wait until sweet season starts again and its just even ending. I don't have money anyway so maybe its a good thing.

Angelic Pretty: Milky Swan

So Angelic Pretty released Milky Swan a few weeks ago! This print really has a sweet and soft look to it. The art style is a bit different from many other AP prints, it looks a bit classic but still really sweet.

This release has two different OP's to chose from which I think is pretty cool, the one to the right looks like it has a much more comfy fit. As you all know by now I'm not a big fan of sheer overlays but it looks pretty cute with this print, it gives it a very soft look.

I love the bodice of the jsk, the design is just so detailed and looks really slimming. More like this please! Love all the lace.
