Your Highness: Constellation Gradient

This gorgeous dress called Constellation Gradient is made by taobao brand Your Highness! I love the layered skirt, the style of the dress goes perfectly with the print. This dress would look cute both with a blouse or just as a super cute dress without.

It's too bad that from what I can see this dress had no shirring, which would improve comfort a lot and would not throw off the design since the back is quite simple. Though considering the price tag is only about 50 usd I think its okay, but don't forget to check the measurements. There are several sizes which will help a bit with that too!

It comes in three dark colorways too which look really nice and I think a lot of people would like them! But of course the cute pastel one is the only one for me.

Long Ears & Sharp Ears: Hiding in the Gift Box

 I've been looking a lot at different taobao brands and there is so many amazing lolita brands on taobao. This adorable dress comes from Long Ears & Sharp Ears and is called 'Hiding in the Gift Box'. This is such a cute original print series and looks really sweet. So who is hiding in the Gift Box? Little cute kittens and snugly bun buns. Its a quite detailed print and has an adorable art style.

It comes in two different cuts, a jsk and a shorter salopette. The jsk is really cute and looks like it has a really nice shape. I love the fancy gift ribbon on the bodice and that it goes across vertically too on the side like cute gift wrapping. To separate the boarder print and the rest of the print it looks like draped scallops as a curtain which makes the dress look less plain. 

They have some great coordinate photos showing that dress would be great for a ott sweet lolita coord. This outfit is just really adorable. I notices a lot of taobao shops have amazing photoshoots, cant wait to share more of them with you all!

I also just had to show you some of these adorable pictures with this little girl! I'm not sure if this kids size dress is available right now but they had some other lolita dresses in kids size. This is just so cute!

Pumpkin Cat: Lemon Cat

 Wanted to show you all and write about this adorable dress from taobao brand Pumpkin Cat! They make a lot of cute original designs, I previously made a post about a cute gingham dress from them. This adorable series is called 'Lemon Cat'. I just love the print design on this. Both the print and style of the dress is more otome than lolita. Its fun and playful!

The jsk works both on its on or with a blouse under. Which is nice so that you can vary outfits and its nice that you can wear it without in the summer. The belt and Bow is also detachable. The little kittens in the print are so adorable!

 The sailor collar really suits the style of this dress and I think I would love to have this version! Both versions is a pretty simple dress but this is also reflected in the price being quite low. I want to try to talk more about different brands and not just the most expensive ones.

Pumpkin Cat: Gingham Picnic

Found this adorable red gingham dress from the taobao brand Pumpkin Cat. I love red gingham, it looks so summery. The scale of the gingham print is perfect for the dress. It has just enough detailing, not too much but not too plain. The shape of the dress looks really nice and I like that its tiered. The white bottom trim looks really nice since the sleeve ends and collar matches and balances it.

For a brand on the cheaper side of things this dress looks really well made and has some nice details. The strawberry buttons on the bodice and the tiny strawberries on the collar look really sweet too, it adds to the summery feel of the dress. The heart button for the waist ties and heart pockets are really precious. I would love to have this dress, its really nice for a more casual look.

Cheval de Bois: Lemon Garden

Taobao brand Cheval de Bois are releasing this refreshing summer print called 'Lemon Garden'. I like the print, the color scale is really nice with the pale green in it. The design is nice and doesn't feel like a copy of something else. I like both the cuts, the jsk is pretty basic but had some nice details on the bust and a nice white trim on the bottom. The bodice of the OP is really nice. I like the frill and ribbons. If their sleeves has good stretch I think it would be really comfortable. I've been trying to add some more yellow to my closet, I think its a very underrated color in Lolita fashion.

I love the wide selection of headpieces available to match. The bonnet looks adorable but maybe a bit too sweet for this style of dress, but could work with the right coord. The frilly veil is nice and this type of pieces had been more popular lately. I think my favorite is the white more flat hat. It goes best with the aesthetic of this dress.

I like the matching accessories they have for it, I think some people miss having the set like in the Japanese brand releases so its good that its available for people who like to have the cookie cutter set. Some of these are so nice I would want them even if I don't have the dress.

Avenue Denfer: Whale & Corsair

Taobao brand Avenue Denfer released this new print Whale & Corsair. I made the collage above to show off this cute dress. I actually really like this print! The marine theme has been really popular this still feels original. The print is detailed without being messy, the whales are so adorable. 

The jsk has a nice cut, its a simple and basic cut for a sweet lolita dress but its really well made one. The quality looks nice and it seems to have good lace also. I'm not a huge fan of lolita skirts, this one has a good shape but nothing interesting. There is nothing really wrong with the salopette, its the same kind Angelic Pretty has been making lately. Its just that it is too long for a short skirt and just comes out as a regular lolita skirt that is too short.

All in all I really like this dress and I would love to have the jsk in the light blue color! I also love the illustrations of girls wearing the dresses, I always find those very inspiring!

Xanadu Faerie: Dreamy Feather

Xandu Faerie is a taobao brand and they recently released this adorable print called 'Dreamy Feather' and indeed it is quite dreamy. The colorway choices are great picks, it comes in sax, navy, lavender and black. It has that sky feel without being another Misty Sky look alike. I love the idea of Pegasuses and the illustrations for the print are adorable. I love that on the lighter coloraways the whole bottom part is white clouds that go over to the frilly bottom of the dress.

The OP is in a pretty simple cut but the detailing is really nice. I love the wings on the back, its just a really nice touch. cute without being too much. There are so many little things to notice, like the embroidered gold feather on the collar and the gold star buttons on the sleeves. The bows look nice and the cut has good proportions. I feel like they put a lot of love into making this dress!

Vivian Tears: Afternoon Trend

Taobao brand Vivian Tears have a new dress called Afternoon Trend, I think its pretty cute as a casual dress. The print has a vintage feel that I think goes really well with the Mint colorway. The cuts remind me of the ones for Angelic Pretty's upcoming Baked Sweets Parade but the print is different enough that I don't feel its copying. The cuts work pretty well but I really wished it was better aligned at the bottom, the print just kinda cuts off in the middle of it, it just looks sloppy. I still think its cute, its just such a thing that could of been fixed easily.  

The dress is still cute and after all it is cheaper than an AP dress would be too. The little teapots are really sweet and they seem to have nice lace too. The style of the print is pretty different, I like it! I think this brand has potential and I look forward to seeing more from them.

To Alice: Floral Fawn

New release from To Alice, I really liked their last one 'Ice Doll' and this one is pretty cute too! I think I like the pink colorway more because the brown color is a bit odd. The cut is basic but works really well. Also I must add their models are really cute. ~

I love that the print is like a framed in candy forest, the trees are really cute too. The green of the forest contrasts well with the rest of the dress being pink. The fawns look cute and it all has a very soft feel to it. I think there are a lot of cool coords that could work with this. I love the extra frills at the bottom. All in all a well put together design. This one feels even more like their own thing! One of my favorite taobao lolita brands at the moment.

To Alice: Ice Doll

To Alice has released a dress called Ice Doll and I think that it is super cute! I seldom really like taobao print dresses but this one has what I like about Angelic Pretty but without being a copy in any way. Its like the lovechild of Toy Parade and Sugar Dream Dome. The cuts are nice, I don't like the overlay but its removable so it really doesn't matter much to me that its there. The fluffy collar is also removable. Even though the OP is cute I would go for the jsk for versatility. If you are new OP's can be great though because you have the whole outfit and don't have to think about getting a matching blouse.

I like the light colorway a lot more, I generally dislike really dark colorways of this type of light print. The print is really sweet, toys in a ice theme dress is a great idea. And I love that it has a rocking horse (big fan of those). The print is not too messy and had a good color balance. Its really nice that they have a really cute bottom lace but I feel like some more detailing at the bottom would of improved it, its a bit to simple with the design of the rest of the dress. All in all I think its really worth the price tag and a good option if buying Angelic Pretty feels a bit too expensive. I might just get it myself at some point!

Hawberry: My Biscuit Can't Possibly Be This Sweet!

Taobao brand Hawberry has a new series 'My Biscuit Can't Possibly Be This Sweet!' and I think it is really cute. I often find things that bother me in taobao brands prints but this one is just so sweet. The colors are soft and the boarder and the rest of the print works well together. I love that more and more brands from outside of Japan are stepping up their game. And with the lower pricetag I think this is really worth it! The colorways are pretty, the lavender is my favorite since it seems to have a really nice shade. The OP is cute but I always prefer jsk's because of the more options with coordinating. They are simple cuts but work well with the print. I want to try and get it later once my economy gets sorted out. 

I hadn't even seen this brand before to be honest but its definitely on my radar now!
