Angelic Pretty: Snow Glass Dome

So its winter and that means winter themed prints! This winter season Angelic Pretty released Snow Glass Dome, my first thought is 'I wish this was a boarder print'! Could they not maybe scale up their prints a bit? I feel like a lot of prints have been looking cute on the close up but when its small you can't see any of the cute details.

The only colorway I like is the light blue one, the others are just make the print even more meeeeeeh. The grey version looks like it's just some small darker bows on it. I get that they have been going for grey colorways lately but can we have some contrast? The lavender isn't horrible, but I feel like something about the shade is kinda off. This could be just the photos, it might look okay irl.

The OP looks cute with the white collar, since it looks like snow. But otherwise I don't like coordinating with white usually. The layering of the jsk is a bit cute, but could use more frills. This just feels like a discount Sugar Dream Dome.

Angelic Pretty: Winter Coat Collection 2016

Angelic Pretty has released a bunch of new winter coats. There are many different styles of lolita winter coats. A lot depends on what cut of dresses you prefer.

 

I think the Milky Dream coat is really cute. I'm a big fan of scallops, its super cute but not too much details on it. The waist is pretty high but it should suit most basic AP dresses.

While the Victoria coat has nice fabric the cut is a bit off I think. Having the length just be slightly shorter than the dress makes it look like its too small and doesn't fit right. I think it could work with more casual shorter dresses but I don't think its worth the high price for that.

The Bear coat is cute and the cut works great if you want it to be more form fitting. Though think about that it wont look good with high waist dresses. These long coats really need a good petticoat under to look good. Otherwise they can look kinda floppy. This also comes in a pink colorway that is adorable.

The coat to the right is really cute and would work with various dress styles.  It comes in a gorgeous antique pink colorway with white faux fur. The only thing that could be a problem is that its probably a very heavy coat to wear and also I think its kinda boring that it covers the whole dress. If you hang out with your lolita friends outside it can feel like you are wearing the same thing all the time.

The Bunny poncho coat is cute but I think its really personal preference if you like that type of coat or not. On the plus side it wont feel tight or uncomfortable!

The Classic coat is really not my style it comes in two shades of brown, red, white and black. I just don't like it to be honest.

These two coats are really more my style. I like the shorter coats because they show of your dress and are not as heavy as the longer coats. Both of these are really adorable and I would generally recommend this type of coat.

It's really nice having a warm coat that fits well over your lolita clothes. It's really cold here so I'm happy I have my lavender bunny coat to wear this winter.

Angelic Pretty: Checkmate

So dark an dreary fall/winter season is starting at Angelic Pretty. They are now releasing Checkmate, yet an other chess themed dress now in more boring colors. The only tolerable color would be the navy. The white collar of the OP gives a nice brake from the busy stripes. I like the V-shape of it actually. Its really just a bit to muddy for my taste, not a fan of these colorways at all. I long for the spring season.

Angelic Pretty: 7 New Upcoming Releases!

Angelic Pretty have now released pictures from their fall collection and I put them together here so you can keep track of whats coming up so you know if you might need to save your money. I like their Spring Summer collection more because its more my colors and style. But for you lolitas into the more dark colorways your season is coming up!

Cirque du L'etoile

A circus print mixed with tartan, feels like a mix of Star Night Theater and british bear. I think it looks nice but really not my style. I like the ponies though.

Antique Chocolaterie

I like chocolate dresses but for me I think this one will depend on the colorways. This color would be so hard to coord with, I have nothing in this color at all! I can only find this picture of it, hope we can see more soon.

Checkmate

This dress is not for me, next.

Princess Cat

Hey guys, this print has cats with glasses and tophats. These cats got swagger. So apparently this blue-green color is a thing in this collection, I wonder what more colorways this will come in! The jsk with the overlay confuses me, why?

Dolly Dot

Cute and Simple, I like it actually. The lavender is adorable, can't wait to see adorable coords with it! I hope this comes in a color that does not have black in it. Like a pink and sax version? Now that would be really adorable.

Milky Swan

One of the more sweet prints for the fall collection, its a bit too toned down and classic for my tastes, but I still like it and I think a lot of people will!

Romantic Little Garden

This print is cute but actually pretty boring. It looks like it could be any old flower print. I hope the colors are more bright in real life.

Angelic Pretty: Winter coats

Its getting cold outside and its starting to get well in time to get a warm jacket to have with your lolita clothes. There are many different styles to chose that suit different types of dresses, here are some from Angelic Pretty. My favorite style is coats that are a bit shorter like the ones above. They go with many different styles of dresses and you can still see the dress you are wearing underneath. An other good thing is that they are easier to use with other styles of clothes. The poncho under to the right also works with many kinds of clothes but it can look a bit bulky. If you like dresses with a high waist or a free waist then the coat under to the left would suit that style. I like this one, its simple but really pretty. It could work with more regular clothes though I think it would look a little bit flat.

An other style of lolita jackets is the one underneath that has a waist and covers the whole skirt. This one is extra extravagant and detailed, it looks very fancy and cute. It can look really pretty when you have a really poofy dress under but I don't like that it looks like you are wearing the same thing everyday when you are outside. An other drawback is that it looks really bad with regular clothes or even if you just have a bit less fluff it can look pretty deflated. An other thing is that when you take it off and have to carry it around it will be really bulky and heavy. Though I still think its really cute.

Angelic Pretty: New Print Coming!

New toy print with a Christmas feel to it coming out soon from Angelic Pretty! I think this one is much more sweet than chess emblem and British bear even though this one also comes in a bit darker colorways. It reminds me a bit of Toy March and Holy Night Story! I think it's a really cute dress that would be perfect for the holidays! I would think that this will sell out really quickly so be prepared once it releases!

Ice Skating meetup

Me in the middle wear Sugar Dream Dome from Angelic Pretty, I feel that it really went with the theme. I can not skate at all. But I was lucky that these lovely boys twining, Gabriel and Jacob, helped pulled me along out on the ice! (as you might of seen in my video) I had so much fun and everyone looked lovely! I'm happy that so many showed up, I'll see if I can snag the group photo that an other girl took later. I should really take the time to learn how to skate though.
