Metamorphose: Egg Art Series

Metamorphose recently released this really cute print! All the details on the boarder print is really cute, I'm not sure if I like it that much with the sharp harlequin pattern on the rest of the dress. But these sharper contrasts are common in Metamorphose designs. It comes in two colors and four different cuts. Even though the wine colored one has a better transition to the boarder print I think I like the black and white one more! The op looks cute, pretty simple bit probably comfortable, it has really cute trim on the bottom and the ribbons are a nice detail. The regular jsk is available as both a short and longer version which is nice for all the tall girls.

My favorite is the jsk without the boarder print. It's just really cute. I would love to have it in the black and white version. The tiers with black ruffles looks really cute.

Angelic Pretty: Diner Doll

Finally Angelic Pretty's print 'Diner Doll' will be released and it is so incredibly cute! I feel like the stock photos above don't even do it justice I mean just look at the print on the picture bellow. I mean there is just so much adorable things, I think this might be my favorite print from this season! Though the cuts are a bit simple and could be better so not sure it's my favorite dress, but might be. I want the jsk in mint so badly I just have to figure out how to afford it. The icecream, cakes, donuts, milkshakes and everything is just too cute. I need this in my life.

Mam Maxicimam: Bonbon Chocolat

Happy with again finding the wonderful silliness that is Mam Maxicimam I wanted to review another of their quirky dresses! First let me just say that yes their stock photos with faces are really creepy and twilight zone looking. It's like its going to come to life and kill you while being cute and giggling, but enough about the future nightmares I will have! I think the chocolate colorway is weird because the colors don't really suit the style of the dress. The pink and lavender combo is perfect for this style though! It has that fun harajuku fairy kei aesthetic. I feel this is the brand for the girl who just likes cute fashion and doesn't take lolita super seriously. Their quality isn't quite as high as btssb or AP but neither are their prices. It's nice that not all the brands do the same kind of thing. They make fun stuff and I would love to own some of their dresses!

Royal Princess Alice: Princess Marine

Oh Royal Princess Alice how you come so close to making something nice and then fall short. The print looks cute but the bust on the JSK just makes it scream cheap Jewel Marine rip-off. It tries to do something similar to the shell design on Jewel Marine, it looks okay but not great. I have no idea why they keep putting those huge bows on the front of their dresses all the time, its like the Milky Cross bow but its just not made well enough for it to look good. The color of the bow on the navy version makes it even worse. I still don't like sheer overlays and this one isn't even removable like on the Angelic Pretty dresses. Its too bad that they there is no trim at the bottom at all, no frills, no lace, no details. It's made worse since you see the lining thru the printed fabric, some lace would of fixed it. The OP is just really simple in design, the cut is okay but I just wish there was some more effort. 

Don't get me wrong I think these dresses are cute still but they could of been so much better. When you are taking the same prices as Angelic Pretty I expect better quality for my money.

Angelic Pretty: Harlequinade

I've been waiting to see this dress! Angelic Pretty are finally releasing Harlequinade. I think it's cute but to be honest I think I only like the pink and blue version. The other colors just feel really unappealing. I think my favorite cut is the jsk with the V shape on the bodice, the detailing looks really nice. I really want to see what this print looks like in real life because its really hard to see what the print looks like. The skirt looks kinda wonky, the sheer overlay on it is really confusion to me. Its a pretty dress but I'm pretty disappointed in the colorways.

Angelic Pretty: Cute Summery Dress

Angelic Pretty just released the adorable dresses, I love these pastel colors but they also come in navy and black. The details look adorable and the fabric is really cute. It's simple without looking like every other dress. The lace looks really cute and the cut looks like it would be flattering. I actually think you could wear the jsk without a blouse for the summer since it has the halterneck ribbon, if you coord it right that is.
