10 New Angelic Pretty prints coming in spring~

Angelic Pretty recently had a fashion show where they showed their full spring collection, many pictures are popping up here and there, from leaked photos to Kera magazines. I though I would make a guide just in case you've missed anything!

1. Parfum
New dress with print designed by Imai Kira, this is a special preorder only dress just like cats teaparty was! It looks amazing and I look forward to seeing people wearing it.

2. Milky Cross
This cross themed print with chiffon overlay is looking stunning. It will be coming out this weekend so gogogo contact your shopping service.

3. Dolly Cat
Good news for you cat lovers! AP will be releasing this cute dress with kittens on it, I really love the purple ribbons on the pink colorway. I wonder what color the ribbons will be on other colorways, it will be cool to see.

4. Wrapping Heart
Print with adorable gift boxes, looking forward to this one!

5. Melty Berry Princess
A new gorgeous strawberry print from Angelic Pretty, seems like they are also releasing a new version of the popular strawberry bag (and there will be and other dress to match my old strawberry bag with!). Mostly rooting for the white colorway, but all red could also be super cute.

 6. Cherry Marguerite
Another berry print but this one seems to be more cherries, the colorways look interesting but people are kinda confused of how crosses fit into this theme, just getting into a trend or do we maybe not see the full picture? Exited to see the gingham blouses though!

7. Mirage Castle
Recently these pictures came up from a issue of Kera. A dreamy princess sleeve OP with a matching aristocrat set. I hope the will be selling a boy style set with this and not just have it for the fashion show. I wonder what other colorways it will come in, darker or pastel?

8. Dream Marine
Stunning seashell themed dress, no really clear pictures of this but the cuts of it are looking stunning. The OP has a chiffon overlay and there seems to be a jsk with layers, both super cute.

9. Salon de the' Rose
Another princess sleeve OP, this one with a lovely cake print. It has a pretty sweet/classic feel and I think it would look amazing in mint or sax.

10. Belle Epouqe Rose
There are no clear pictures of this dress yet but it seems to have rocking horses maybe? roses? I guess we will have to wait and see!

I hope you liked this guide to new Angelic Pretty dress! I'm really looking forward to all of them and saving all my money! Thanks for reading.
(print names are just guesses since they are the time of writing not published)

Dunkin' Donuts in Täby

Here in Sweden we don't really have Donut shops, but a few months ago they opened up a Dunkin' Donuts in Täby Centrum. Feeling a huge craving for donuts and having nothing to do that day I decided to venture there! Its 1 hour and 22 minutes to get there, which is the reason for me not haven gone there yet. So I put on a candy sweet lolita outfit and was on my way. It was snowing outside, like a lot.

In Täby I finally got to taste my first donut in years, it was a maple glaced donut and it was amazing. I had never even been in Täby Centrum before but it is really huge, me and my friend got lost several times. The prices where not too bad for being sweden, 17/79/149sek for 1/6/12 donuts!

There were so many to pick from that I got 12 to take with me home and I actually ate them all on my own.

All in all it was a nice day.

Chocolate Tea-Party

I made a video from the Chocolate Lolita Tea Party in Stockholm. Hope you like it!
The tea party was really great, it was so nice to hang out with lolitas that I don't meet so much. The theme of the tea party was chocolate as you can probably see in the pictures.

Here are some bonus pictures!

Basic shironuri makeup tutorial

This is a simple illustrated guide in how to do a basic shironuri makeup. This is my style of doing it and I almost always work around this basic design, there are tons of different ways of course. You should always experiment and find what fits your face and style the best! Make sure to clean your face properly and put on whatever day cream you use, the makeup will look better on soft and clean skin.

The first thing to do is put in whatever colored lenses you are going to wear, since I'm going to have mostly green color in the makeup I pick purple as it is a good contrast and will make your eyes pop more. its important to t in your lenses first to not get white paint in your eyes. Always make sure you have clean hands before putting in your lenses. Circle lenses are an important part of the makeup and it will look a bit of without them.

Next step is to remove your eyebrows, if you really don't want to loose your eyebrows there are ways of covering them up but it is a lot more work, I will put in a link to a guide on how to do just that. The reason to not have your eyebrows is because we will make your eyes huge by moving up the eyelid fold and eyebrows. If you are going to remove them you can either use tweezers or shave them off. Using tweezers will make them grow out more smoothly and shaving them off is faster and hurts less but will leave you with a harder stub when they grow out. Personally I remove my eyebrows.

Then its time to put on the white base! I use a white cosplay foundation that I bought i Japan, but with whatever white foundation you will want to carefully dot it on with a makeup sponge, do not just paint it over as this will create lines. Be sure to cover your whole face, ears and neck. When you are done with this take thick layer of white loose fixing powder on a sponge and dot it on carefully. Be sure to not get the white foundation on the sponge. Use a lot of powder and when everything is covered just brush of the excess powder with a big makeup brush.

Start applying the eye-shadow, put it on pretty high on the eyelid and make a fade from the outside and in from green to white.

Continue with the eye-shadow and build up a bigger eyelid, the darker green lines should be right under where your natural eyebrows would be. Make it go out and down from your eyes on the outside since we will be making your eyes bigger.

Now put on a sharp eyeliner, use a liquid eyeliner to get really jet black lines. Draw in the upper line and make it continue down from where the eye ends on the outside. Make the bottom line go down to about where your eyebags are and then start going up to your eye in about the middle and in to the corner.

Make a shadow of green outside of the bottom line.

Now its time to put on your eyelashes, make sure to have really long and thick eyelashes for the top since we have made the eyes so much bigger. You can also use two pairs of eyelashes to make them thicker. They should start where the outer corner of your eyeliner is. Also have eyelashes on the bottom, it works great using the ones that are made to be more natural top lashes as bottom lashes just make sure they are turned the other way to that they go downward.

Start painting your new eyebrows on about a cm above where your natural ones are, I prefer smaller and shorter eyebrows. Paint on the shape you want with eye-shadow in a color that matches the hair you will have.

Make them more look like eyebrows by shading over with a darker color in the middle and drawing short lines to make it look like hair.

Next paint your lips, you can use white foundation mixed with lip-balm and then eye-shadow to color them. A light shade of the color on the eyes work well and have them be a bit darker in closer to your mouth.

Now just put on a wig and you are done to go out and scare children.. ehhr... I mean go out and look fabulous and take those selfies.

Here are two examples of variations of this basic design that I have had:

Shironuri for a fashion show

Recently I wore Shironuri for a fashion show. For clothes I used a bunch of layers, making a kinda cult party kei outfit. I chose a palette that is green, yellow and white. My point that I coorded from is that hat that I'm wearing, I love it a lot since Minori made it. I bought it from her at Haruka-Con. It was so amazing to meet her, she is really nice.
http://tokyo-fashion.tumblr.com/post/91952521918/japanese-shironuri-artist-minori-on-the-street-in
(Minori wearing the same hat)

The hat is pretty big so I needed a big outfit to balance it out. There are a bunch of layers, in the bottom there is a long thin white dress with a lace top over it to get some texture. Over that I have a long sleeve mint cardigan with some fluff and a nice big ribbon. then Over that I'm wearing a blue and a yellow peignoir with a bunch of pins and some flowers pined on it. I'm also wearing a big ribbon around my neck so that I will cover more skin to not have to paint it white, for the same reason I also wear white gloves. So that it gives the impression of me being all white. For the makeup I use white cosplay foundation that I bought in Japan, for this time I had to shave of my eyebrows to put fake ones higher up to make my eyes huge. I felt that I needed something more to make the makeup pop so I painted a small Chelsea smile.

Hope you like my look, thanks for reading.

Circle Lens Review: EOS Ice Green

Review of  EOS Ice Green from PinkyParadise!

Color Rating: natural
I really love the color on these, it really mixes well with my hazel eyes! the best thing is that the trasistion is really smooth so you cant see where the lenses ens and my eye color begins which gives them a nice natural look. I recommend them if you want a eye color that pops but still looks pretty natural.

Comfort rating: Don’t even feel them
I’ve been wearing these lenses for the last few months and they are still perfectly comfortable, they are really soft. I can wear them all day without even feeling that they are there!

Overall rating: Lovely
I really like these lenses, so much that I got them in the blue color also! They are on 50% sale right now so I totally recommend them. I think they go best with brown or hazel eyes.

Keep Calm and Acquire Brand

Hello! Mint here.
In the years since I started to dress in lolita I have accumulated quite a lot of lolita clothes. I'ts really nice when you start to feel that you can wear lolita every day without it feeling like you wear the same thing every day. I scavenge around the internet looking for the items I want and looking for them in good prices.

I'm really proud of my collection!

Love every single dress I buy. Trying to work in some more colors just bought a red french cafe and a lavender candy treat. Still waiting for them to get here (also waiting for my milky planet in sax~~).

I've worked a lot of extra shifts to be able to buy some new lolita dresses, haven't bought any new lolita dresses in months, spent most of my money on my trip to London a few months ago.

OH, and PS, I changed the color of the text since someone complained about it being hard to read.

Love

Lolita stuff bought in august

All the lolita stuff I bought last month, not a bad heap at all :P

Angelic Pretty Happy Garden jsk Review

Recently I bought Happy Garden from the Swedish Lolita forum. The purchase went smooth but not much sense in giving a review for a sale from a private person. So I'll just review the dress.

The version I bought is the High Waist Jsk in Sax. The model is different from other Angelic Pretty dresses I have since it has more of an A-line shape, so I think I need to get a new petti to better suit this dress. The dress has really nice fabric that has a rough feel. Nice change up from having the same cotton fabric as most dresses have.

The Print is really adorable and I think its very different from other AP prints, I love the brighter colours that give possibility to make different coords. The rough texture of the fabric also makes the print look really nice. The blue colour is more blue than for example the Sax Jewellery Jelly. The lace has little bunnies made to match the print, as expected from Angelic Pretty.

All in all its a very nice dress, perfect for Easter but look's great the rest of the year too. :)
